Program Description

All our courses combine lectures with hands-on instruction and case studies. Depending upon your skill level, we offer a variety of OB-GYN courses that cover any areas that you need more expertise in.

This OB ultrasound course will improve any previous training you may have received and help you gain practical experience by performing ultrasounds on live models. Our courses are designed for healthcare professionals looking for additional knowledge on OB-GYN ultrasounds, medical personnel at entry-level ultrasound imaging proficiency, and physicians at a more advanced level.

Additionally, you will earn Continuing Medical Education credits with any of our courses:

  • Limited OB Ultrasound 16 credits
  • Three-day OB-GYN Ultrasound 24 credits
  • Five-day OB-GYN Ultrasound 40 credits
  • Gynecological Ultrasound 16 credits
  • Depending upon the course and your level of training, medical professionals such as OB-GYN specialists, midwives, physician's assistants, nurse practitioners, and sonographers are all welcome to enroll in our training.

    Course Objectives

    All participants in our OB-GYN courses will receive extensive knowledge of fetal and female anatomy through lectures and hands-on training supervised by our highly trained faculty. Our lab is state of the art and increases your ability to recognize abnormal and normal anatomy.

  • Get diagnostic images by applying the basic principles of instrumentation
  • Perform a basic endovaginal ultrasound while evaluating the anatomy
  • Conduct a fetal ultrasound that adheres to AIUM protocol

  • Display the proper techniques needed for infection control and transducer cleaning
